“Photography, for me, has always been a way to stop time. Not to freeze it, but to stretch it. To create a space where something endures. That’s what I have sought during these ten years of collaboration with Numéro—a certain suspension. A way to remain between moments.” – Txema Yeste.

From Photographer to Contemporary Artist
Txema Yeste acts as a true contemporary artist, seeking to create unexpected images that reveal strong personalities and intense emotions. Txema Yeste’s works have been widely featured in major international exhibitions, notably Beyond Fashion at the Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography (FEP) and Solid Gold at the Brooklyn Museum (until July 6, 2025). His works are also part of the permanent collections of national institutions in Spain.

“We are celebrating today more than a decade of close collaboration with one of the most talented artists of his generation, Txema Yeste. Master of light, sorcerer of shadow, Txema takes us on a surreal game of hide-and-seek between dream and reality, between sensuality and a symphony of colors.” – Babeth Djian, Editor-in-Chief of Numéro.

“This exhibition is not a summary. It is a moment in motion. Ten years that feel like a single continuous instant—fragile, open, unresolved.” – Txema Yeste.

“After the exhibitions dedicated to Sølve Sundsbø, Guido Mocafico, Jean-Baptiste Mondino, and Koto Bolofo, I am pleased to begin a new chapter in our program devoted to contemporary photography with Txema Yeste & Numéro.”
