A loyal collaborator with Numéro for over ten years, Txema Yeste will exhibit his most beautiful photographs taken for the magazine at the Reiffers Art Center in Paris, from May 21 to 31, 2025. The exhibition offers an immersion into the flamboyant and sensual world of the Spanish photographer.
 
Born in 1972 in Barcelona, Spain, Txema Yeste is a celebrated photographer whose career began in photojournalism before turning to fashion photography. Yeste’s work is distinguished by powerful and sophisticated images that reflect his deep passion for photography and his desire to capture meaningful moments.

A long-time collaborator with Numéro, he draws inspiration from music, cinema, art, and his surroundings, embracing bold use of color and surreal compositions.
 

“Photography, for me, has always been a way to stop time. Not to freeze it, but to stretch it. To create a space where something endures. That’s what I have sought during these ten years of collaboration with Numéro—a certain suspension. A way to remain between moments.” – Txema Yeste.

From Photographer to Contemporary Artist

 

Txema Yeste acts as a true contemporary artist, seeking to create unexpected images that reveal strong personalities and intense emotions. Txema Yeste’s works have been widely featured in major international exhibitions, notably Beyond Fashion at the Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography (FEP) and Solid Gold at the Brooklyn Museum (until July 6, 2025). His works are also part of the permanent collections of national institutions in Spain.
