Numéro celebrates more than a decade of creative complicity with one of the most talented artists of his generation, Txema Yeste. A master of light and a sorcerer of shadow, this virtuoso of composition takes us on a surreal game of hide-and-seek between dream and reality, sensuality and symphonies of color.
I am delighted to introduce a new chapter in our contemporary photography program with the exhibition "Txema Yeste & Numéro." After showcasing the work of Solve Sundsbo and Jean-Baptiste Mondino, the Reiffers Art Center is now proud to present the poetic and surreal images of Txema Yeste, a major figure in fashion photography who has collaborated with Numéro and its editorial director, Babeth Djian, for nearly fifteen years. Over time, the fashion images produced through this close collaboration have become iconic and fully deserve their place on the walls of an art space like the Reiffers Art Center. This exhibition is a rare opportunity for the Parisian public to discover the work of this great Spanish artist. It also offers collectors the chance to see some of his photographs for the very first time.

I discovered Txema Yeste's work fifteen years ago and was immediately captivated by the intense poetry of his images. A master of light and a magician of shadow, Txema draws us into a surreal game of hide-and-seek between dream and reality. Txema does not simply show—he reveals. With their powerful sensuality and flamboyant color spectrum, his photographs become fascinating, magnetic objects of desire. Within dreamlike atmospheres and ever-powerful nature, his heroines move like panthers—independent and bold. Their skin seems to whisper, and their bodies appear to us like sculptures shaped by an invisible hand.
I'm delighted that these iconic images created for Numéro are now brought together in the exhibition "Txema Yeste & Numéro." They celebrate more than a decade of creative complicity with one of the most talented artists of his generation.
